Why FindHaus?
I built FindHaus because I went through the WG search grind myself — checking the same site every hour, writing the same message over and over. The tool removes that repetitive work so you can focus on the rooms that actually fit.

How it works technically

Store your search profile and criteria
The app stores your profile, target city, budget, and search windows so new matching listings can be filtered automatically.

Match new listings against your criteria
The app continuously checks new listings and matches them with your preferences using structured listing data.

Generate a personalized message with LLM support
Your about-me text and the listing details are combined into a personalized application that you can review and use in the dashboard.
Data and privacy
Stored data includes your profile text, search criteria, generated applications, and related metadata so you can review your history in the dashboard.
No payment data is stored. This application is not affiliated with any WG listing platform.
Raw listing data we retrieve from third-party platforms (such as listing URLs, prices, and descriptions) is automatically deleted from our servers after a maximum of 7 days; your generated application history remains visible in your dashboard.

About the project
FindHaus is an independent side project I built and maintain. It started from a real frustration with the German housing market and grew into something I'm genuinely proud of. It is not affiliated with any WG listing platform.
